Earlier this week, we brought you the story of the Police in Ghana making women sweep the streets and men unclog gutters, if they are seen in public, in some cases, in their private cars, without a face mask or even if they have it pulled down below their noses.
Well, it seems the Police actions have raised some serious legal issues, as acknowledged by the government in the video below. Is it right to arrest people for not wearing face masks? Is it right for the Police to make them sweep and unclog gutters, when the law is so vague?
